Music Therapy

At Anthem Within, we believe every voice has a story, and every story has a rhythm. Music therapy offers a safe, creative way to explore emotions, reduce stress, and connect with others who understand your journey.

Led by Rosalie, MT-BC (Board-Certified Music Therapist), our sessions provide a supportive space for:

  • Guided music therapy and creative activities
  • Stress relief and self-expression through music
  • Community connection in an inclusive, stigma-free environment

Whether you’re navigating challenges, seeking inspiration, or simply longing for a place to belong, music can be the bridge. No musical experience is required—just an openness to explore your anthem within.

  • Reduce stress and anxiety through creative expression
  • Explore and process emotions in a safe, supportive environment
  • Build confidence and self-awareness through music-making
  • Connect with others in a welcoming, stigma-free community
  • Find inspiration and healing through rhythm, melody, and lyrics
  • …and more
  • Led by a Trained Professional: Each session is led by board-certified music therapist, Rosalie, MT-BC.
  • Creative Expression: Opportunities to use music, rhythm, and lyrics to explore emotions and tell your story.
  • Community Connection: Group interaction in a safe, inclusive environment where experiences are shared and supported.
  • No Experience Needed: You don’t need to play an instrument or sing—just bring an openness to explore through music.

Rosalie Starkweather, MA, MT-BC, NMT

Board-Certified & Neurologic Music Therapist

Rosalie is a board-certified and neurologic music therapist who specializes in using music as a pathway toward healing, self-discovery, and emotional balance. She holds a degree in Music Therapy from Oral Roberts University and a master’s degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.

Drawing on her background in both clinical practice and the creative arts, Rosalie helps her clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions through a supportive and experiential approach. Her sessions blend evidence-based neurologic and behavioral music therapy techniques with mindful listening, songwriting, and guided improvisation—creating space for clients to reconnect with themselves and express what words alone can’t always reach.

Rosalie believes in the transformative power of music to amplify inner strength, foster self-compassion, and restore harmony between mind and body.
