The JAMBALOO™ Music Prize is a $20,000 annual award given to the best full-length album released by a DFW-based artist or band in the previous calendar year.

JAMBALOO™ is a dynamic, community-driven music initiative in the DFW area that celebrates the region’s rich and diverse live music scene. What began as a week-long festival of free concerts across four independently owned venues has grown into a powerful platform supporting both emerging and established artists. With programs like the JAMBALOO™ Music Prize and grants for local venues, the organization is deeply invested in uplifting the creative heartbeat of North Texas — nurturing talent, strengthening music infrastructure, and building a sustainable future for DFW artists.
